Why me?
I've run a small business since 2017, juggling a young family and all that mid life throws at you. When I started there were so many online groups to join where we helped each other our, had a good laugh, got things off our chests and where there was no judgement.Post pandemic we seem to have lost a lot of that as models have moved to expensive coaching programs and memberships which require a lot of time and energy to get your money's worth.What I crave is a catch up over a coffee with like minded business folk but as and when I need it, not scheduled networking events.If there's one thing nearly a decade of running a small business has taught me it's that community really matters.Which is why I want to build an online meeting place for us all to hang out, decompress, ask for help or have a laugh. No judgement, no expensive fees, just as if we were buying a couple of coffees a month.
